The Douglas County Law and Justice building is new construction of a 17,898 sf facility.The building provides space for Sherriff’s Office, District Courts, Clerk, Juvenile and Probation, as well as administration, conference and lobby space. The building shell is steel column and beam with steel stud walls and masonry veneer, and a metal roof with rigid insulation and membrane roofing, with sections of metal roofing. Floor is slab-on grade finished with carpet, sheet vinyl and a portion ground and polished. Interior walls are metal framed with gypsum wallboard.
Buildings are pre-engineered steel buildings with aluminum panels at the canopy, aluminum storefront and curtainwall system, sectional vehicle doors, hollow metal personnel doors, and masonry and glass components. Buildings are approximately 15,000 sf each. Interior work will include sealed concrete floors, exposed vapor barrier at perimeter walls and ceiling, steel bollards, fire suppression systems, under slab plumbing and drains, unit heaters, electrical service, lighting, and some interior framed walls.
A 1200 sq ft pre-engineered building to serve as the Architectural Chemical Building housing components to process wastewater from industrial operations.
